Loud and clear, the words of Martin Luther King  ring as strongly and true today as when he first spoke them.  Join us to march this Saturday in the Eatonville MLK Day Parade Jan 13 representing the LWVOC. Details & Sign-ups HERE.
At yesterday's Hot Topics, Healthy Communities=Healthy Democracy, we learned about local resources offered by multiple non-profits that seek to educate the community as well as create space for positive change.
Look for an upcoming RECAP of the event including actionable goals, resource links, video of the event, photos, etc.  Until then, consider reading the book written by one of our panelists, Dr. Bahiyyah Maroon, Black Lives, American Love: Essays on Race and Resilience
Photo shown of the HT Overtime that takes place afterwards, allowing a more intimate setting for one-on-one discussions with available panelists.
