League Organization

certain constraints are necessary in order to
maintain the non-partisanship of the organization.

~Board officers and directors are elected at an annual meeting by League members.
~No Board member is a paid staff member of LWVOC.

Become a Member of the League

Our community depends on talented leadership for effective governance. League members gain experience working on issues that influence public policy.  We are afforded opportunities to meet with elected officials, organize publicized events, and speak in front of large groups.
Historically the League was formed to teach women how to exercise the power of their vote and this remains a core value today.
