Subject: LWVOC Newsletter & Events
From: Lisa K Adkins

Yes, we're also wondering HOW time flew by so quickly in 2023.  At our Annual Meeting in April, we recognized the many volunteers who give their time and talents to ensure that the LWVOC can empower voters and defend democracy.  And in the months since then, even more volunteers and League supporters have been busy helping us.  If you attended the Holiday Party last night (bravo Events team for another fabulous party) you watched the yearly video wrap-up highlighting our members.

And for those of you who were unable to join the celebration, please enjoy watching the video on our YouTube Channel HERE.  Easy gift idea for us...subscribe to our channel while you're there!
Over two thirds of the way there...we have a tremendous opportunity as a generous $25,000 challenge grant from local supporters has been issued.  Each dollar that you give between now and December 31, 2023, will be matched dollar for dollar. Your gift today will help us get accurate information to voters AND encourage everyone to get to the polls.
Double Your Impact HERE
You can even make a corporate match or an LWVOC membership gift for a special person in your life and that gift will also count towards meeting the challenge grant. The League of Women Voters is committed to defending democracy – but we cannot do it without your help. See your gift go twice as far to ensure every voter’s voice is heard. Contact us at lwvoc.org/donate or P.O. Box 1901, Winter Park, Fl 32790.

LWVFL has opened registration for Lobby Days 2024
Registration is now open for the annual Florida League Lobby Days! This signature event is one of LWVFL's most impactful each year.
Please consider joining them on January 23 & 24 as they mobilize to Tallahassee and push the state forward.

Lobby Days marks a unique opportunity to humanize our legislative priorities with our state lawmakers. The League's reach has continued to grow over the past year and we're excited to show that off in the halls our state capitol.
