For the 2nd time, they invited Jennifer Adams and Barbara Lanning (shown above, center) to address a group visiting Central Florida on September 22nd . The Nature Conservancy has developed a fascinating hi-tech tool that displays GIS-mapped data spanning many aspects of our urban environment and presents the information to government and community organizations to enhance the livability of our city & county. The EcoResource is provided by TNC at no charge to the community and is specific to Orange County. It demonstrates evident areas that need and deserve attention to address flooding, green space v. impervious surfaces, energy burden, etc. The League of Women Voters of Orange County was delighted to help The Nature Conservancy primarily by contributing our network connections and by participating in their surveys, co-hosting a charette with other community groups and participating in beta tests of the tool, EcoResource of Orange County. The tool can be found at this link: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/a6c3a080a386476ca844b574b6ab6acf
