UNSUNG HEROES~The lifeblood of the League is our member volunteer force. Rain or "broil" they are out registering voters and providing education on a wealth of topics ranging from new voting laws to government operations to a non-partisan look at issues voters will decide. In order for that volunteer army to march, there are also unsung heroes behind the scenes providing logistics and support. We want to recognize them as well!

The Board of Directors wants to hear from you - who are the League's "unsung heroes?"
Tell us who they are and we will honor our volunteer force at the Fall League Showcase & New Member Welcome on October 17th.
Please submit your nominations HERE through September 18th.

On August 9, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis removed Monique Worrell, the duly elected state attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Florida, from her democratically elected seat. This removal was without legal cause or merit, and her suspension was without pay. The law is not on Governor DeSantis’ side and State Attorney Worrell will fight the legality of this suspension in court
