Our focus is supporting healthcare policies benefitting everyone.


We aim to close the coverage gaps among Floridians and strive for a healthier Florida.

We can do better! Our committee explores what we already have...concrete metrics for improvement.

1. Support Medicaid expansion

2. Support lower health-care costs

3. Support increased access to healthcare

4. Address insurance issues


Florida ranked 48th in a report from the Commonwealth Fund, a nonprofit, nonpartisan foundation that advocates expanding health-care access. Only Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi came in lower.


The reports analyzes 40 factors as falling under the following 5 categories (Florida's ranking included):


Access and Affordability (48th)

Prevention and Treatment (49th)

Avoidable use and cost (49th)

Healthy Lives (31st-includes death by suicide, alcohol/drugs, mortality amendable to healtcare)

Disparities (49th)
