	Educational Background: I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Rollins College (1980), a graduate certificate from the University of Louisville (1987), a graduate of the FBI National Academy (FBINA 202 class), and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from U.C.F. (2006)
	Age: 55years old
	Current Occupation: I am the retired Undersheriff of Orange County Sheriff Department (1999-2008) with 33yrs total in law enforcement.
	Civic Organizations: I am a board member of Lakeside Mental Health Past Chairman of the Urban League Member of the National Latino Policeman Organization Past State President of the (N.O.B.L.E.) National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives I also serve as a Deacon at my church.
	How can you make a difference as Orange County Sheriff? I can make a difference by using current methodologies such as surveillance cameras and increase the use of informants to assist in solving crimes. I have more on the job experience and education than my opponents in crime fighting at OCSO. I also will include the public, academic, and business world in solving and preventing violent crime.
	What are the top three challenges facing the Sheriff's Office? The top three challenges are: Violent crime Retention and improvement of pay to keep qualified and experienced deputies Public safety, for all citizens and tourists.
	How will you work with other agencies to ensure a safer Orange County? I will form task forces and include municipalities in our role of reducing crime.
