led the Florida League’s legal fight to outlaw the drawing of Congressional and state Senate districts to favor political parties or incumbents.
In 2010, Florida voters backed two amendments making it illegal for lawmakers to draw political districts that ignored the will of the voters. But, as King will detail at the League’s June 8, Hot Topics luncheon, the legal battle had only just begun.
