A FINAL PUSH TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL 2023
One of our newest committees, Fund Development, successfully orchestrated the "Sip & Shop" event in downtown Winter Park last week.  Their efforts doubled last year's total!  Ten Thousand Villages and J. McLaughlin Boutique donated 15% of their day's proceeds to LWVOC.  Your holiday shopping was most appreciated.

WHY WE WORK SO HARD TO SHORE UP OUR FUNDS
Yes, like many organizations, we ask for your support in our year-end giving campaigns.  As a longtime advocacy group, we've learned that the unexpected (pandemic anyone?) can deplete resources, thereby thwarting our efforts to empower voters.  Fortunately, we're planners and weren't caught flat-footed but now, we're working hard to rebuild our monetary cushion.  Since our group only receives about one third of your annual dues, we've learned how to do a lot with a little.  So THANK YOU for your member renewals, your donations, your volunteer efforts and your community support!  And if you're looking to make a final year-end tax-deductible gift, Donate HERE one-time or recurring.
