Losing the Grand Canyon:  FAF Presents an Unforgettable Evening with Kevin Fedarko

One night only! The First Amendment Foundation presents an evening with Kevin Fedarko, moderated by Florida’s own Diane Roberts on October 11 in Orlando. The event will take place at the beautiful and intimate Orlando Museum of Art.

This evening promises an insightful look into the Grand Canyon, a landscape that now faces an unprecedented array of development projects from every cardinal point of the compass, threatening to damage the integrity of the crown jewel of the National Parks system. Moderated by Diane Roberts, author, columnist, essayist, NPR & BBC commentator, and professor.

An audience Q&A session and book signing for Kevin Fedarko’s The Emerald Mile follows the program.

Kevin will walk you through his epic 800 mile hike through America’s favorite National Park and share some stories behind his acclaimed book The Emerald Milea New York Times bestseller and winner of the National Outdoor Book Award as well as the Reading the West Award.
