Summary: America’s banner year of 2020 brings opportunities to commemorate the centennial of women’s right to vote and the birth of the national League of Women Voters. Help us celebrate with a journey through our past, present, and future. This multimedia presentation illuminates the suffragists’ battle for votes for women, the League’s crusade to empower voters and defend democracy, and the fruits of women’s evolving leadership. Speakers explore the adventures of historic leaders and the Orange County League of Women Voters in their crusade for open government, election reforms, the environment, education and child welfare, and voting rights for all
