Why are you running for this office, and what qualities and skills do you bring to this position?
I've been a resident of Windermere for over 16 years and have a concern about the future of the town. I felt that one way to help ensure the historic character of Windermere is to sit on town council.

I have worked in the field of management for over 30 years, which required skills such as budgeting, contracting, organizing and negotiating.

What are the top 3 priority issues facing your community, and what actions would you take to address them if elected to office?
Due to cut backs in governmental funding Windermere will be faced with operating on a significantly reduced budget. I will work closely with the town staff and other council members to develop a budget that maintains the quality and standards that make Windermere what it is.

Windermere is struggling with increased traffic primarily due to growth outside of the town limits. I will look for opportunities to work with outside communities to find ways to control the traffic.

Windermere is also dealing with potential increase in commercial development within the town limits. I will vote consistently to support only those businesses that are appropriate to the small town image that we currently have.
