WHY KIDS NEED CIVICS
In 2010, the Florida Legislature enacted one of the most sweeping mandates for civics education in the nation. The Sandra Day O’Connor Civics Education Act created an extensive middle school civics program that all students must satisfactorily complete. Why civics is important will be discussed by two prominent leaders known for their lively face-offs on public TV and radio..
