LWVF: ACTION ALERT: Call Speaker Cretul today!

The House Economic Development & Community Affairs Policy Council passed out of committee this morning the most sweeping elections law reform bill in Florida in over 25 years with only 3 minutes of public comment and 6 minutes of legislative debate. Representative Franklin Sands asked on the House floor today for the Speaker to send this bill back to committee to allow for proper public input & legislative debate. Please call the Speaker today and ask him to honor Representative Sand's request and send this travesty of an elections bill (PCB EDCA 09-08) back to committee.
